Privacy notice
A plain-language summary of what we collect, why, and who else touches it. Last updated October 15, 2026.
Who we are
Dew Point Designs LLC is a small energy-assessment company in Post Falls, Idaho. You can reach us at [email protected].
What we collect on this website
- The sign-up form. If you use it, we receive the name, email address, property type and notes you choose to enter. The form is processed by Formspree, which delivers it to our inbox.
- Your approximate location, for the map. The map in the page header is centered near you. Cloudflare, which hosts this site, estimates your general area from your internet connection. Our code rounds it to about three miles and uses it only to draw the map. It is not stored by our code. If you are far from North Idaho, or your location can't be determined, the map shows Post Falls instead. We don't ask your browser for GPS or any location permission.
- Standard connection information. Like any website, the companies that deliver it can see technical details such as your IP address and browser type.
Who else handles it
- Cloudflare hosts and delivers the site and keeps routine security logs.
- Formspree processes form submissions.
- The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) provides the map images. Your browser requests them directly, so USGS servers can see your IP address when the map loads.
Cookies and tracking
This site does not use advertising cookies or analytics trackers.
How we use what you send
We use it to reply to you and to tell you when assessments open. We don't sell your information. We keep it as long as it's useful for that purpose, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.
Customers and reports
If you become a customer, we will collect more, such as your address, photos and thermal images of your property, and notes from our visit. We'll explain how that is stored and shared when you book, and it will be limited to what's needed to prepare your report.
Your choices
Email us to see, correct or delete what we hold about you. If you'd rather not share your approximate location, your browser's privacy settings or a VPN will make the map default to Post Falls.
